Oh !This Old Thing?! Jewellery Upcycle & Wine

A mindfulness boutique mini retreat combining creativity and yoga held in Amsterdam.

Relax, recharge and leave feeling energised.

Take time for yourself and rediscover your creativity and treat your body to some harmony. 

This event is suitable for all yoga and creative levels. Everyone is very welcome. To keep the event chilled and cosy we are only opening up 10 spaces for this experience.

We recommend that you come in your yoga/workout clothes, that way you can be comfy all day. We have all the materials needed for both sessions, as well as tea and coffee. At the end of the session we will provide some delicious and nutritious snacks for you to enjoy.

14:30-16:00- Mindful doodles

Affirmations and chats

Mindful doodling is a relaxing and creative way to express yourself, reduce stress, and improve your focus.

In this session, you will learn how to use simple shapes and patterns to create your own unique doodles. You will also explore how doodling can help you connect with your inner self, your emotions, and your goals.

16:15-17:30- Breath exercises and Hatha yoga

Martina will guide you through some stress relieving breath work and mindfulness before easing into the flow of Hatha yoga- becoming aware of the connection between your body and mind.

17:30-18:00 - High Tea

Enjoy some nutritious and tasty snacks and some comforting tea

Chat with others or just spend time with your thoughts and reflect and hold onto the gorgeous energy you have created for yourself.

A little about your hosts

Martina started her yoga journey six years ago and decided to become a yoga teacher this year to share her love for yoga with others. Martina teaches Hatha and Vinyasa styles, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone. Join her on the mat to experience the many benefits of yoga together!

Izzy set up WellCreative last year after taking some time out from teaching and rediscovering the power of creativity. Everyone is creative in some way and creativity can boost your confidence, imagination, and relieve stress .Experiences are important and they shape who you are and how you see the world and WellCreative focuses on bringing people together. Workshops begin with affirmations, chats and centering in on what you need right now.

You will learn how to decorate your glass making it perfect for your celebrations or a great unique gift for someone special. Make your own wine glass charms using beads, charms, and wire. 

You will make six charms, a personalised gift tag, and receive a bag to keep your charms safe. These charms are perfect for marking your drink at a party or giving as a gift to a wine lover.

Let’s reframe them with the power of affirmations , rock painting and positive vibes .

Join us for a rock painting workshop, where you will learn how to transform ordinary stones into beautiful affirmation art.

Affirmations are positive statements that can boost your mood, confidence, and happiness.

While creating you can sip, relax chat and have good times with other like-minded people in a friendly and chilled atmosphere.

All the materials you need are provided, and no experience is necessary. You can come by yourself or with friends, and leave with your own unique affirmation stones that you can keep or give as gifts. This workshop is a perfect way to spend an evening, and to discover the power of rock painting and affirmations.

Sip and (Rock) Paint 

Let’s face it, most of us living in Amsterdam would love a garden…unfortunately most of us aren’t millionaires.

But! We can still have plants..many many plants in pots of all shapes and sizes! Join us for a plant pot painting workshop, where you will learn how to transform ordinary terraccotta plant pots into beautiful works of art.

Affirmations are positive statements that can boost your mood, confidence, and happiness. While creating you can sip, relax chat and have good times with other like-minded people in a friendly and chilled atmosphere.

All the materials you need are provided, and no experience is necessary. You can come by yourself or with friends, and leave with your own unique plant pots that you can keep or give as gifts. This workshop is a perfect way to spend an afternoon, and to discover the power of creativity and affirmations. A drink is included (wine/beer/tea/coffee/soft drink).
